Final Recording Session!

During our editing of the hut scene, we realized that we had a problem as our dialogue from the pre-recorded sessions took too long to be able to be fit into the footage that we had taken for the hut. As such in order to resolve this we assembled our group at the hut and once again shot more scenes for the hut, however this time we added a change as we could see Finn and Logan get off the hut and walk down the road, eventually ending up at a local skatepark where the dialogue was resumed and the two characters finished their conversation before heading back to Finn's house. Adding this skatepark scene allowed us to get more diversity in our shots as we were able to get shots of the characters walking together and their interaction at the skatepark allowed for us to show the friendship between the two in a different form as opposed to just vocally.

Later on we decided that after having filmed the argument again, we decided that we wanted to add a comedic scene featuring Logan as the friend who was awkwardly caught up the in the argument who didn't know what to do. Initially our idea was to have her sarcastically saying 'Bye Finn' however we felt this wasn't as effective as if we were to have Logan awkwardly opening the curtain to see Finn storming off down the driveway.

We also noticed that Finn's house was blue and that a neighboring house was orange, which we felt was quite ironic/ convenient and we decided to take an establishing shot of the two houses side by side as they matched the colours of the two masks. We agreed that the Establishing shot works well as it shows that the story is based in a suburban sort of setting and also has one of the key props also directly in the center, the bike.
