For our Magazine review, we decided to create our own magazine as opposed to using an existing one such as empire or little white lies. Thus we created 'Outland'

Magazine Review Draft

The title, which was laid over the top of the image we used for the poster, was created by Megan, who also blended the image to make it fit in better with the rest of the review. She created this using pages.

This box contains information about the film, such as running time, release date, name of cast, who the film was directed by etc. We saw this used in Empire Cinema's reviews and decided to incorporate it into our own review.

Throughout the review we also have designated areas to put stills from within the film to break up the text and add variety. We also made use of one of the rejected poster ideas and instead incorporated it into our review alongside a pull out quote.

Magazine Review Final

Hannah created the 'Available to Stream on' "sticker" on pages. She started by layering a grey circle underneath the blue one in order to create a sort of shadow effect. She then added a rounded rectangle on top of the circle and hen added a triangle on top of the rectangle that matched the background colour of the circle in order to mimic the youtube logo.

We also kept the box from the original draft that we had seen featured in Empire Magazine that features the names of the cast members, the name of the director, the running time, release date and also the plot of the film.
