Today, Megan and I met Hannah at her house due to the fact that we are using her bedroom as Finn's bedroom in our short film. We began by emptying her room of all irrelevant props, for example her television and various posters that were on the walls, which when removed left us with an excess of bluetack we had to remove.
Upon clearing the room we then proceeded to use some of the art supplies that Hannah had in the decoration of the room, we used various different artistic items such as an easel, various paints and paint brushes, and even stuck up design ideas for the head which Finn wears in the film. Alongside this we also put various books and dvd's around the room as they are common things found in a teenager's room.
Once all the set up of the room was done, we decided to start planning some shots. One of the shots we had planned was to do a panning shot that panned over a small shelf that held a few books as well as a ukulele, the shot slowly panned until Finn was in view laying in bed with her alarm ringing.
In this shot we found that the Alarm was key as it provided us not only with an action for Finn in the start of the film, but it also provided us with a piece of diegetic audio that we could use for a sound bridge.
