First day of filming

Today we began filming at Hannah's house as this was where we had Finn's bedroom set up. We had a rough idea when going into the filming of what shots we were hoping to obtain during the day. Despite problems that we encountered throughout the filming process, particularly using the dolly for the initial panning shot, we were able to successfully get all of the different shots that we wanted. On this day the filming was largely done by Becky. We found that there were difficulties using the dolly due to the way that the wheels would move, making it difficult to have a smooth, continuous pan. This shot was also very important to us as it was the initial panning shot that we would include in our film and also set up the start of the film. A further problem we encountered was with the alarm itself as it proved difficult to operate and set up for the time in order to make it ring when we needed it to. Another problem was obtaining the shot of Finn leaving her room, we found that a lack of equipment this resulted in us instead using two separate shots and editing them together.

On this day we also intended to film the scenes just around Becky's house, however, we were unable to accomplish this as it was raining and as such we rescheduled for a day when the weather forecast was more suitable for outdoor filming,
